Table Tennis Club

Description
The Western Table Tennis Club is a recreational club open to players of all skill levels, from complete beginner to experienced competitor. We offer three practice sessions each week, with coaches available to help members learn and improve their skills.
Members can attend whichever practice sessions fit your schedule, whether that means joining us once a week or coming to all three. Our practices are a great opportunity to play table tennis, meet new people, and be part of a welcoming community.
We also host four official tournaments as well as multiple events throughout the year, giving members the chance to compete at their own level and win exciting (expensive) prizes.

Club EventsTournaments:
All tournaments have large prizes! We’re going all out this year…- Beginner Tournament - Our first beginner tournament will be held this year for players who are new to the game. A less intimidating tournament for our beginner members!
- Singles Tournament - The singles tournament is our most competitive tournament held to crown the best player of Table Tennis Club at Western!!
- Doubles Tournament - Our first doubles tournament will be held this year to crown the best duo of Table Tennis Club.
- Racket Relay Collaboration Tournament - This is our newest and most exciting tournament of the year where we collaborate with other racket sport clubs to host a fun tournament together!
- Rock climbing - This is our most fun social of the year where all of our members go rock climbing at the Junction, you don’t want to miss out!
- Bonfire - We’re having a bonfire at the beginning of the year with other clubs where you can play fun games and meet other students
- Spoke after practice - After our saturday sessions we grab food at the spoke together with all of the members
- End of year social - We have a huge end of year event where we hold an award ceremony, host fun games, and highlight our best moments of the year
Last year, after the tournament, we held a social event at a board game café, which gave both members and executives a great chance to connect and get to know each other. Each year, we also design and order different club apparel, such as T-shirts and shorts — and in the future, we may even add hats and socks!
