Description
The Western Table Tennis Club is a recreational club open to all interested in table tennis - newcomers, beginners, and professional players. We offer weekly practices three times a week, and coaches will attend to teach. It is a great opportunity for members to mingle, have fun, and improve your skills. You can choose the practice time that fits your schedule, and you are more than welcome to attend all three of them. Furthermore, we host at least two tournaments every year. You will get great opportunities to compete with people at your skill level and win great prizes.

About the President
Hi everyone, my name is Yuqi Shi. I am excited to be the President of the Western Table Tennis Club for the 2024-2025 year! I am a table tennis fan who has enjoyed watching table tennis games for many years (Fun fact: My favorite player is Fan Zhendong). I am looking forward to meeting everyone, and I am ready to organize fun tournaments and social events during the year! Past Events
We host two club tournaments every year and we give out prizes for the champion as well as the runner-up. This is the event everyone is excited about and it is usually held near the end of each semester.
Last year, we held a social event at a board game cafe after the tournament. It was a great opportunity for members and executives to get to know each other. We order different apparel for each year e.g. t-shirts and shorts, and possibly hats and socks in the future!
We have coaches who run regular training sessions to help you improve on your techniques and skills.
Fees
Full-Year Membership: $50.00 +HST
Fall Term Membership: $30.00 +HST
Winter Term Membership: $30.00 +HST
Practice Schedule
Tuesdays: 3:00-4:30 PM
Wednesdays: 3:00-4:30 PM
Saturdays: 12:00-2:00 PM
Locations are provided on your membership purchase receipt.
Registration
Registrations for Recreational Sport Clubs will be available online only starting on Monday, September 16th. You can visit Western Sports & Recreation (westernmustangs.ca) to register. Payment options are VISA and MasterCard credit cards (VISA Debit and other debit or credit cards are not accepted).
Refund Policy
All memberships can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, minus a 10% administration fee*. After this 14-day trial period, partial refunds will be issued for medical reasons only (with written documentation).
*The 10% administration fee may be waived if transferring to another program/Club.
On occasion, certain facilities may not be available due to maintenance, special events, etc. Campus Recreation will provide notice whenever possible, but memberships will not be extended.
