New Club Application

New Club applications for the 2024-2025 academic year are now CLOSED.


This page provides information about submitting an application for a new Recreational Sport Club to be ratified under our Recreation Clubs Program. The Recreation Clubs Coordinator will review all applications submitted.

If more information is required, you will be contacted via email and could be asked to set up a meeting to further discuss specific details about your club. Only strong applications will be recommended for review by a Ratification Committee including the Recreation Clubs Coordinator and other full-time staff in the Recreation Department. If successful, you will be required to meet with the Recreation Clubs Coordinator to go through next steps.

Please fill out the application to the best of your ability. Only serious and complete requests will be considered. Submission of this application does NOT guarantee approval.

◊ Proposed Club Activities Plan (refer to section B.2)
◊ Club’s Projected Budget (refer to section C.1)





  • Applications open on January 29th at 12:00 PM
  • Applications close on Feburary 29th at 11:59 PM (hard deadline)
  • Applications will be reviewed during the month of March
  • Decisions will be emailed to all applicants before the end of April
