Fall Intramurals 2024
Registration OPENS on Thursday, Sept 5 at 8:00 am for Fall 2024 Intramurals. Taking part in Intramural Sports is a great way to get involved in University life at Western. We offer a full range of of activities where individuals can participate in men's, co-ed, or women's leagues at the competitive or recreational level. League space is limited, and registration is first come, first served. Leagues fill up fast. Register as an individual or as a team. All skills levels are welcome. The wait-list is a great alternative option as teams occasionally drop-out. (Read full entry)

Update: WSRC REOPENS after Power Outage - June 26
UPDATE as of 5pm June 26, 2024: Power is back on and facilities are reopening! #welcomeback Once again, our facilities - including the WSRC (Rec Centre) - are currently closed due to a power outage across Western University’s campus on June 26 at 4:00pm. Lighting the Torch for Western Unified Basketball
Earlier this Spring, in March 2024, the Western Unified Intramural Basketball Program hosted the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) in London in a fun-filled morning of basketball. The LETR is the largest fundraising organization for the Special Olympics movement worldwide, having raised over one billion dollars. They are also the largest global public awareness vehicle for Special Olympics as they champion inclusion and acceptance, which aligns very well with Unified Sports. Unified Basketball was first introduced at Western in 2018 as an intramural sport for all Western students and Special Olympics athletes in the London region. They play weekly games each Sunday during the fall and winter semesters at the Western Student Recreation Centre. (Read full entry)

WSRC Closing Early on Sat March 23 for USC Relay For Life
The Western Student Recreation Centre will be closed at 6:00pm on Saturday, March 23 2024 for the USC Relay for Life event. This event raises money for cancer research, and students are encouraged to sign up for this fun all-night event to have the chance to win prizes and make a difference in the fight against cancer. Family Day Holiday Closure
