Move Your Mood

Move Your Mood is Western’s free, inclusive, non‑clinical initiative supporting mental and physical well‑being through recreation-based events and programming that focus on movement, mindfulness, creativity, and community connection. Funded by the Parr Family Grant, Move your Mood offers FREE fun, accessible opportunities for students to de‑stress, recharge, and thrive together. 

Western’s mental wellness initiative invites students to explore inclusive, movement-based events designed to reduce stress, build connections, and promote balance. From weekly meditation Tuesdays to glow in the dark yoga, Spikeball tournaments, fitness workshops, and a wellness fair—there’s something for every mood and moodmaker this year. 

Important Update – New Registration Process for Move Your Mood Social Sporting Events

We’re making changes to help more students participate in our high-demand Move Your Mood social sporting events. Due to the number of no-shows at sold-out activities, all social sporting events will now be first come, first served at the door.

You’ll still need to preregister online — but this now means you’re signing up to receive updates, reminders, and important event details rather than reserving a guaranteed spot.

This new approach reduces empty spots and helps us build an even more inclusive, fair experience for everyone. We encourage you to preregister and arrive early to secure your spot.
