Officials
Looking for opportunities to… Make extra money? Develop your leadership skills? Challenge yourself with something new? Meet new friends? Gain experience working in sport? Get involved in your campus community?
BECOME AN INTRAMURAL SPORTS OFFICIAL
Intramural officials offer all the above benefits, plus an opportunity to work a flexible schedule. Becoming an Intramural official is the first step towards greater leadership in Campus Recreation. The success of the program is in the QUALITY of our student staff team.
Previous knowledge of the sport is not required but is preferred. Officials must be able to make quick decisions and handle conflict. Officials will be trained to improve their skills, knowledge of the game and the mechanics.
Schedules are flexible and change week to week to fit the needs and schedules of each official. Officials are eligible and encouraged to play. Games are played in the spring/summer Monday through Thursday and in the fall/winter Sunday through Thursday with most officials working 2-3 of those days.
