Welcome to the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Program at the University of Western Ontario! Our Direct Entry into the BFA degree program has a number of exciting features that distinguish it from other programs. You can expect small classes with hands-on instruction by dynamic professional artists with national and international exhibition profiles. You will be learning in an environment where studio and theory are brought together to form enriched artistic engagements that create the foundation for a wide variety of career options. If you are creative, enthusiastic, artistic, and intellectually curious then this is the place for you!

The BFA program requires a portfolio as part of the admission process.

BFA students submit applications for next year's Practicum class which opens March 1.

SA 4605 : PRACTICUM  

The BFA degree culminates in this practicum course where students make art in a dedicated studio space, work with a faculty advisor, stage an exhibition, produce a catalogue, and develop the skills to professionalize their practice.
