Financial Systems is pleased to assist new employees in obtaining access to Western Financials, and provide support to ensure that individuals are able to login and access the necessary financial information to perform their responsibilities.

Request Access to Western Financials

All current employees and faculty are able to log into Western Financials to create online Travel Expense claims, Professional Expense Reimbursement claims (where applicable), and research grant statements.

For users that require additional financial administrative access (e.g. Journal Entry, General Ledger Inquiry and nVision reports, Billing and Accounts Receivable) a Request for Access to Corporate Information form must be printed and completed, signed by the user, signed by the budget unit head, and faxed to ITS (complete instructions are on the form).

Salcom Inquiry Access

  • Individuals responsible for reconciling salary charges to a GL cost centre can request access to SalCom Inquiry (Salary/benefit Commitment) by printing the SalCom form and sending it to Financial Systems, Suite 6100 Support Services Building. Please note that a Request for Access to Corporate Information form must already be completed by the user before any SalCom access can be added.
