Secured Bike Space Locations
Alumni Thompson Parking Lot: Features vertical racking which can accommodate up to 60 bicycles.
Thames Hall Room 1105: This bike room offers capacity for 26 bicycles with a mixture of vertical racking and floor posts for larger cargo bicycles. Directions to the bike room: enter the building from exterior door "EX13" near the loading dock by the Fowler Kennedy doors on the east side of Thames Hall.
Access to the bike shelter is availability:

Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 10:30 PM

Saturday–Sunday: 8:30 AM – 10:00 PM
Entry is through your Western ONECard, and only users with an active Bike Shelter Permit can access the space. Permits are virtual—no hang tag is required.
Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
How to get your free Bike Shelter/Room Permit
To request access to a bike storage space, log into your Western Parking Account and select either “ATBIKE” (Alumni Thompson Shelter) or “THBIKE” (Thames Hall Bike Room) from the list of available permits.
You may hold only one bike shelter permit at a time. There is no fee, but you must complete the checkout process to secure your permit.
Permits are valid September 1 to August 31 and are issued on a first come, first served basis.
Bike Lockers
Located across campus, these spacious lockers provide secure storage for your bicycle and gear. Most standard bikes fit, but some tandem or recumbent bikes may not.
If you are interested in renting a bike locker, please send an email to wparking@uwo.ca to obtain information on availability.

- UCC concrete beach near the Japanese Gardens
- Behind the Support Services Building (AFAR)
- Upper Support Services Building
- Health Sciences Building
- Amit Chakma Engineering Building (south entrance)
- Courtyard in between the Natural Sciences Centre and Biological & Geological Sciences Building
Locker Size:
3' 6" high, 6' 5" deep, 2' 8" wide
Rental Information:
Renters are required to provide a refundable $100.00 key deposit, in addition to their rental fees, before they obtain their locker key.
Renters who wish to renew their contracts must notify the Parking Office of their desire to do so and provide payment at least 2 weeks before the end of the rental period.

Lockouts and Lost Keys:
Lockout services are only available through Western Special Constables 519-661-3300 (24 hrs/day). A lost key should be reported to the parking office immediately. A replacement key could take up to a full day to process, and an additional $100 deposit will be required.
Bike Locker Waitlist
The Bike Lockers are offered to the campus community on a first-come, first-served basis. When the available lockers have all been allocated, there will be a waitlist kept. You can email wparking@uwo.ca to indicate you would like to be added to the waitlist. Being on the list will not guarantee space will become available for you to obtain a Bike Locker.
Electric Bike Safety Disclaimer:
For safety reasons, electric bikes are permitted in bike shelters and lockers only if the battery is UL certified. Western Fire Safety conducts spot checks for compliance. If you have questions about verifying your bike’s UL certification, contact Parking.
