Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Western currently offers several EV Charging Stations on campus. See the parking map for locations.
Charging Stations can be found at the following locations:
- Alumni Thompson
- Bayfield
- Brescia
- Elborn
- Health Science Pay and Display
- Huron Flats
- Ontario Hall
- South Valley
- Springett Pay and Display
- Support Services
- Weldon
- Westminster
- Visual Arts
The ChargePoint app will show which of the stations are currently active for use.
The following fee structure for EV charging are:
Level 2: $3.00/hour
Level 3: $20.00/hour
The above rates do not include any connection fees charged independently by Chargepoint.
- Only electric vehicles that are plugged into a charging station are permitted to park in spaces designated with an EV parking sign.
- Tickets will be issued for: Parking a non-electric vehicle in a designated EV charging space, and parking an electric vehicle in a designated EV charging space without it being plugged in.
- Electric vehicles must be actively charging while occupying the space. Vehicles must be moved when charging is complete.
- The EV charging station spaces cannot be used for loading and unloading, temporary parking or as a pick-up or drop-off area.
