Guggenheim Fellowships 2027
This pre-call framework is based on previous Guggenheim Fellowship competitions, and is therefore subject to change as new information is provided by the Foundation.
Guggenheim Fellowships are intended for individuals who have already demonstrated exceptional capacity for productive scholarship or exceptional creative ability in the arts. Guggenheim Fellowships are grants made for a minimum of six months and a maximum of twelve months. The purpose of the Guggenheim Fellowship program is to help provide Fellows with blocks of time to work with as much creative freedom as possible. No special conditions are attached to the grants and Fellows may spend their grant funds in any way necessary to their work. The value of each Fellowship varies, and approximately 175 are awarded each year.
Further information on the upcoming round will soon be available through the Guggenheim Fellowship How to Apply page.
