Minor in Feminist, Queer, and Critical Race Theory

Admission Requirements

Completion of first-year requirements, including 1.0 Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies courses at the 1000 level (either GSWS 1020E or 1.0 course from GSWS 1021F/G, GSWS 1022F/G, GSWS 1023F/G, GSWS 1024F/G) with a mark of at least 60%, or permission of the Department.

Note: Students beginning a module in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies after first year may substitute GSWS 2240F/G in place of the 1.0 first-year course requirement and take it concurrently with their second-year courses.

Module Requirements - New!

4.0 courses:

1.0 course: GSWS 2220E.
1.5 courses: GSWS 3320F/G, GSWS 3324F/G, and GSWS 3173F/G.
1.5 additional courses in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies at the 2000 level or above, chosen in consultation with the Department.

A student may apply to the Department for approval to substitute 1.0 course from another department provided that the course is relevant to the student's Minor in Feminist, Queer, and Critical Race Theory.
