Minor in Feminist, Queer, and Critical Race Theory
Admission Requirements
Completion of first-year requirements, including 1.0 Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies courses at the 1000 level (either GSWS 1020E or 1.0 course from Black Studies 1030F/G, GSWS 1021F/G, GSWS 1022F/G, GSWS 1024F/G, the former GSWS 1023F/G, the former GSWS 1030F/G) with a mark of at least 60%, or permission of the Department.
Note: Students beginning a module in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies after first year may substitute GSWS 2240F/G in place of the 1.0 first-year course requirement and take it concurrently with their second-year courses.

4.0 courses:
1.0 course: GSWS 2220E, or Black Studies 2230F/G or the former GSWS 2230F/G and GSWS 2231F/G.
1.5 courses from: Black Studies 3420F/G, GSWS 3320F/G, GSWS 3324F/G, GSWS 3173F/G, or the former GSWS 3420F/G.
1.5 additional courses in GSWS or Black Studies at the 2000 level or above.
A student may apply to the Department for approval to substitute 1.0 course from another department provided that the course is relevant to the student's Minor in Feminist, Queer, and Critical Race Theory.
