RESEARCH

I am a retired Senior Scientist from 3M Canada, and led research in multiple areas, including: digital x-ray imaging, electrically conducting adhesives, UV photocatalyst for air purification, force sensors, photovoltaics, water purification, sensors for contaminants in water, Li ion battery materials, and nano scale coatings for a variety of commercial applications. I am the inventor of 3M graphene-like-carbon (GLC) coatings, and have extensive experience in 2D materials and their processing.

I am interested in collaborating with anyone at Western with whom I can engage my expertise in materials chemistry.
