Western Science now has a continuous recruiting cycle. We encourage you to post your job by January and hire in February for a May or September start. We will gladly accept job postings, arrange interviews, and extend job offers until August each year.

Actuarial Science Recruitment

Please note for our Actuarial Science Offer Deadline we ask all offers for Actuarial Science students are submitted through the job offer form before October 22, 2021 (due to the unique nature of hiring of this group of students).

Students are given 48 hours to consider offers

Fall Reading Week – Nov 1-7, 2021
Fall Term Exams and Holiday Closure* – Dec 6, 2021 - Jan 2, 2022.
Winter Reading Week – Feb 19-27, 2022
Winter Term Final Exams* – April 11 – 30, 2022

August 12, 2022 Final application deadline for 2021-2022 recruitment cycle.

  • Our current student cohort have flexibility to start between May and September 2022.
  • We do not have a full candidate pool available for January starts. We occasionally have students who are seeking a January start.
  • Our work terms run for 8-16 months in length.
  • We conduct a continuous recruitment cycle (no offer or rank match deadlines)
