What positions are posted on Working at Western?

On Working at Western you will find:

  • Staff positions (part-time and full-time)
  • Faculty positions (part-time)

Full-time faculty positions can be accessed from the menu on the left. New opportunities arise frequently so please check back often. There may be more than one page of job postings.

Use "Search Jobs" to find positions

Use the Search Jobs bar at the top of Careers to quickly search for jobs. Type in a keyword and click the arrow at right.

On the left panel of Search Jobs, use the filter to select which jobs display in the main panel. For example, under Posting Type, click Faculty to display only faculty postings. Under Faculty/Unit, select the faculty or unit you wish to explore.

Submitting your application

When you apply online for a position for the first time, you will be asked to provide an active email address and current phone number, as well as details about your employment history and qualifications.

You have the option to upload attachments such as a cover letter or resume along with your application. Learn more about this and find other helpful information in our updated guide Applying to Working at Western.

Equity Questionnaire - Western now collects applicant equity information. The Equity Questionnaire available during the application process is voluntary and will help inform, assess, and diversify Western’s recruitment and talent acquisition strategies and policies. The data will always be reported in aggregate form only to hiring units to maintain the anonymity of respondents.

Logging in

If you are experiencing difficulty with a specific browser please try a different browser or read our troubleshooting tips.

To go to Working at Western, select the link that best describes you:

I am a current Western employee or I have worked at Western within the past six months

The above link will allow you to log into My Human Resources. Select Working at Western to bring up Careers, where you may review postings and apply for jobs.

User name and password assistance for current and recent employees

I do not work at Western and have not worked at Western within the past six months

The above link will take external applicants to Careers, where you may review postings and apply for jobs. First-time external applicants will select New User or Register Now and create a username and password. Before registering, you must acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

If you have applied before, select Sign In and log in with the username and password you previously created. Select Forgot User Name or Forgot Password if you need assistance.

After login, select My Account Information to add or update your personal and contact information.
