Depending on your job, your total compensation is made up of your salary or pay, health and dental benefits for you and your family, life insurance, retirement savings, educational assistance and other supports for professional growth, vacation and time-off entitlements, protection from salary loss, and more.
Our total compensation package is competitive with other regional employers and with our peer universities. Western invests approximately $100 million each year to provide all statutory and other benefits, and pension to our employees, and the value of benefits represents as much as 27.5 per cent of the full employee payroll.
