2023 Canadian Society for Chemistry Travel Awards

Congratulations to the winners of the 2023 Canadian Society for Chemistry Travel Awards. There were a lot of excellent applications and the committee did its best to spread the awards to as many groups as possible with priority given to students in their final year and giving oral presentations. Each award recipient will receive a $1000 prize.


NatalieNatalie Korkola in the Martin Still Research Group will present her study on “Structural Role of Cadmium and Zinc in Metallothionein Oxidation by Hydrogen Peroxide: The Resilience of Metal–Thiolate Clusters” at the 20th International Conference on Biological Inorganic Chemistry, Adelaide, Australia.






AmritAmrit Singh in the Johanna Blacquiere Research Group will present his study on “Acceptorless Dehydrogenation of Amines using Metal Ligand Cooperative Catalysts” at the Canadian Chemistry Conference and Exhibition, Vancouver, BC.
