Happy 80th Birthday Professor G. Michael Bancroft
A symposium that celebrated Professor G. Michael Bancroft's 80th birthday and honors his contributions to the Chemistry Department, Western University, Science and the Canadian Scientific Community was held over the weekend at Spencer Hall. Former students, colleagues and friends came from all over the world for the occasion both in person and virtually. The symposium covers topics where Mike made pioneering and significant contributions. Mike as a former Chair of the Chemistry Department, Surface Science Western, Centre for Chemical Physics at Western and the founding father of the Canadian Light Source, a national facility of advanced photon technology in Saskatoon!
