49th Inorganic Discussion Weekend
The 49th Inorganic Discussion Weekend (IDW) was held in Hamilton the weekend of November 11th, 2016. Graduate students from our department gave 7 oral presentations and 6 poster presentations, and represented us all very well. Samantha Novoa also took home a 2nd place poster presentation prize! The standard of the talks and posters were very high throughout the weekend, and we proud to say the UWO cohort were well above average - all of the practice is certainly paying off. We love the chemistry enthusiasm at Western. Thank you and congratulations to all who participated.
