Free HIGH FIVE training offered at the CCAA

Are you interested in improving your skills and providing the best quality of programming possible to older adults in your community?

HIGH FIVE, a division of Parks and Recreation Ontario (PRO), is offering FREE training in the Principles of Healthy Aging workshop (PHA). The PHA workshop focuses on evidence-based approaches to improve the participant experience using the HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Aging including:  Mastery, Play, Participation, Friendship, and A Caring Leader. The program has demonstrated success in encouraging older adults to participate consistently in physical activity.

Please fill out this survey to be considered to be one of 25 individuals to participate in the free training workshop.

Training will take place on Tuesday the 26th of November from 1:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m. at the Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging (1490 Richmond St, London, ON N6G 0J4). You must be available on the training date below to be eligible to receive this opportunity. 

The course fee will be waived should you be one of the 25 individuals selected. You will be be required to provide feedback regarding the training and be required to deliver the Principles of Healthy Aging workshop in your community.  

Please fill out the survey by Friday the 1st of November at noon.

The 25 selected individuals will be notified by Tuesday the 5th of November via email.
