Do you have a passion for food? Are you curious about the integral part that food and nutrition play in our lives? This includes everything from how we develop our own food preferences to how food is grown and processed, and its impact on our nutrition and environment.

In the Foods & Nutrition program, you will study a wide range of concepts related to food and nutrition. Whether you are interested in learning about the impact the food industry has on our global world; in understanding the societal determinants of health; in researching the chemical composition of food; or exploring how cultures can influence food habits – in our Foods & Nutrition program, you decide! Under the guidance of your award-winning professors, you will evaluate how food and nutrition impact all areas of our lives. Your understanding will be enhanced through a variety of enlightening courses, including Culinary Nutrition, Food Production Management, Food Analysis, Agriculture and Food Systems and Global Policies and Food Safety.

Did you know the Foods & Nutrition experience reaches far beyond the walls of the classroom? We offer many ways that you can get involved in clubs to network with students like yourself such as FRESH (Food Resources and Education for Student Health) and Nutrition Ignition!, while providing food and nutrition support to the community. In our program, you will not only build your network with your peers and academic professors, but you will gain connections with professionals in your field. As part of our Foods and Nutrition program students also have the option to study the module Nutrition & Dietetics which is accredited by the Partnership for Dietetic Education and Practice (PDEP) and to obtain a Major in Nutrition Management.
