Minor in Foods & Nutrition
The Minor in Foods and Nutrition is designed specifically for students in undergraduate programs in Health Sciences, Kinesiology, Biology and Biomedical Sciences who may pursue the Minor concurrently with their degree program.
Admission Requirements
An average of at least 70% in:
- Foods and Nutrition 1070A/B – Introductory Human Nutrition
- Foods and Nutrition 1241A/B – Lifecyle Nutrition
Enrolment is limited. More competitive standing may be required.
Minor in Family Studies
Admission Requirements
60% in each of:
- Family Studies 1010A/B – Introduction to Families and Human Development
- Family Studies 1015A/B – Close Relationships
- 1.0 from Psychology 1000-level courses OR 1.0 from Sociology 1000-level courses
Combined Degree with Ivey Business School
This option gives students the opportunity to complete two degrees within the space of five years. At the end of that time, students graduate with an Honours Specialization in Nutrition & Dietetics from the Brescia School of Foods & Nutritional Sciences and an Honours Business Administration Degree from the Ivey School of Business.
