Info for Students

The Arts & Humanities Internship program allows students in their third-year of study (and beyond) the opportunity to accept paid and career-related placements for course credit. 

Internship placement opportunities may be available in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. The total number of placements per year will vary based on the individual needs of participating employers.

Length: 4 months (0.5 credit) or 8 months (1.0 credit)

Time of Year: Fall (September - December) Winter (January - April) Summer (May - August)

Commitment: 140 hours minimum over 4 months (full or part-time available)

Location: unrestricted

Program: 3rd or 4th year of Major or Specialization within the Faculty of Arts & Humanities

*Full-time fourth-year students who plan to graduate in June 2019 may not be eligible. Please contact Academic Counselling for more information. Please note that due to funding criteria, some internship roles will be restricted to students returning to school post-internship.
