In-Person Same-day Drop-in - NCB 280

Monday: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:30-3:30pm

Wednesday: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, including Welcome Wednesday - First Year Student Priority

Friday: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm during peak times only (add/drop, exams, etc.)

This is a chance to talk with an advisor in person! A 15 minute advising session to discuss progression, course selection, missed course work, academic issues, and more.

Drop-in ends 10 minutes before 12:00 pm and 3:30 pm – if there are large queues, you may not be served. If this happens, please try again the following day. Stop by NCB 280 to join the queue!

Appointments are 15 minutes. This is a chance to talk with an advisor face-to-face in our office. Please submit a ticket through our Academic Advising Help Portal, selecting the topic that best matches your request.  Be sure to include detailed notes indicating that you'd like an appointment, and we'll be happy to assist you.

Welcome Wednesdays - A dedicated drop-in appointment session time for first-year students!

Science & Basic Medical Sciences Academic Advising office is offering dedicated drop-in hours every Wednesday morning September 10, 2025 – April 29, 2026, to discuss all of your academic related questions.

To compliment your specific discussion points of interest - each month our drop-in sessions will have a theme (e.g. Course Selection, Progression Requirements, Preparing for Exams, Intent to Register etc.) to highlight key upcoming sessional dates of importance, resources available in our office and on campus to support your academic journey.
