French-Language Research Support Service

Western University and Acfas Partnership

Western and Acfas, an organization devoted to promoting French-language academic research in universities across Canada, have partnered to provide researchers with access to the French-Language Research Support Service (SARF).

The service can be used to review SSHRC and CIHR grant proposals written in French, and can assist researchers at any or all stages prior to grant submission, potentially enhancing success rates. SARF will be expanded to provide assistance with NSERC applications later this year.
