Director, Campus Safety & Emergency Services
Bill joined Western as the Director, Campus Safety & Emergency Services in October of 2021. His background includes a wide range of operational policing experience as well as several years of senior management responsibilities including Superintendent, in-charge of several Divisions within the London Police Service. Bill has responsibility for all aspects of campus safety and security.
Campus Safety & Emergency Services plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for Western University’s students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The division includes Special Constable Services, Fire Safety, HAZMAT, Emergency Management and Continuity of Operations, Building Access Control, and Foot Patrol. Together, these teams provide 24/7, year-round safety and security services, while also overseeing the training, organization, and management of Western’s Building Emergency Teams.
