The Western Innovation Fund has been replaced by the Advance 2 Market Fund. If you have any questions please contact the Sarah Brooks, Associate Director, New Ventures.
The Western Innovation Fund awards were supported by the the Vice-President (Research) and were intended to fund projects that would advance innovative research results towards application and commercialization. This competition was for one-time projects based on existing research initiatives. Applicants could only receive one grant per type of project or technology.
Reporting
- Interim report due within nine months of grant startup
- Final report due within three months of grant termination
