Live Chat Support

The Nursing academic counsellors are pleased to offer a live chat - through Microsoft Teams - to assist students. In order to access the live chat support, students will be required to sign in to Teams using their Western University credentials. Teams can be downloaded here.

Chat Schedule

Students are asked to adhere to the chat schedule so that we can proritize support for the students and other responsibilities. Messages left outside of the dedicated chat schedule will be deleted.

Chat hours may be occasionally unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. If you access Chat during the designated hours listed above and do not receive a response within 30 minutes, please send your inquiry to the appropriate academic counsellor via email.

LIVE CHAT INSTRUCTIONS

To initiate a live chat with a Nursing academic counsellor:

  • Download Microsoft Teams on your smartphone, tablet or computer
  • Login to Teams with your Western University credentials
  • During the dedicated chat times:
    • Search for "School of Nursing" or "nurse@uwo.ca" in Teams and start a chat session
    • Or, click here to automatically start a chat session
