Due to the rapid surge in COVID-19 cases both regionally and provincially, on December 24 Western was informed by Public Health that they have adjusted their prioritization strategy for case investigations. The Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) will no longer investigate cases that have a post-secondary exposure or notify Western of on-campus exposures. There has been broad health unit messaging for symptomatic and isolating individuals and additional information can be found on the health unit website.

Not all reported cases were acquired or transmitted on campus and these individuals may not have been physically present on campus.
