Robot Arm Rooms

The Cognitive Neuroscience Research Facility at WIRB houses several single- and dual-arm reaching robots that can be utilized in sensory, motor and cognitive research. These systems have been used to investigate the coordination of multi-joint movements (e.g. reaching to external target locations) using a single arm, or both arms simultaneously. These systems are also capable of manipulating visual feedback or perturbing the motor movement during movement execution and can be used in combination with TMS, fNIRS, etc.
