Sahil Manjania is the Founder and Director of DIA Labs Canada, a Mississauga-based medical device research and development company which he launched during his fourth year at Western University. DIA Labs is currently developing a Class II medical device designed for continuous asthma monitoring—a game-changing innovation in respiratory care. Backed by over $400,000 in non-dilutive funding, the company is on track to bring its product to market within the next 14 months. Beyond DIA Labs, Sahil is deeply embedded in Ontario’s healthcare ecosystem. He co-founded Alder Square Medical Centre in Dufferin County, now the region’s largest family medicine practice. He also serves as Director of the Ontario Research Medicine Network, where he oversees industry-sponsored Phase II–IV clinical trials. Sahil brings extensive experience leading high-performance teams at the intersection of technology, research, and health care delivery. He’s passionate about building scalable medtech solutions, translating innovative ideas into real-world impact, and mentoring the next generation of talent—having hired numerous Western University students into full-time, paid positions. Whether he's advancing asthma care or shaping the future of clinical research, Sahil is driven by one core mission: to solve meaningful healthcare problems through business innovation.
