Students

There are many opportunities for students to get involved with the Richard W. Hutchinson Geoscience Collaborative Suite and the Earth Sciences Department. These opportunities provide the opportunity to meet other students interested in the Earth Sciences while providing invaluable experience. There are two main ways to get involved with the Richard W. Hutchinson Geoscience Collaborative Suite - the work study program and volunteering.

Work Study

The Richard W. Hutchinson Geoscience Collaborative Suite hires work-study students every year to assist in the operations of the facility and curation of the collections. This allows students from all faculties to gain valuable work experience. More information on the work study program is available here

Volunteer

The Richard W. Hutchinson Geoscience Collaborative Suite also accepts applications from interested volunteers to assist with the operations of the facility and curation of the collections. If you are not eligible for the work study program but still interested in volunteering to gain valuable experience, click here to learn more.
