Event Description:
Four Western students will share their reflections, stories and experience from their international entrepreneurship internships in India and Kenya as part of the Ontario Global Edge program. Funded by the Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation, the program gives students a first-hand opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship and the role of small and medium-sized businesses in a global economy. Students receive up to $4,000 in funding for the 12-16 week internship.
Staff from Western International and the Student Success Centre will provide information on the 2014 summer internships, eligibility criteria as well as tips for the upcoming call for applications for the OGE program at Western.
