Hot Takes on The Future

Podcast created by: Shaowda Salehin, Hanbi Lee, Reya Siby

Exams have now started, which means before we know it, the 2020-2021 school year will be over (finally). If we’ve learned one thing this year, it’s the importance of planning ahead to be prepared for whatever might be thrown your way. Moreover, we learned that regardless of how much you plan, sometimes adjusting your plans and maybe even scrapping them can’t be helped when the situation calls for it.

This week, the Hot Takes team sat down to talk about how we like to plan for our future, whether that’s immediate, short-term, or long-term. We also shared our summer plans with each other, both the “hopeful possibility” version in the case that the COVID-19 situation happens to improve, as well as the more realistic version of what we would do if the lockdown persists.

We also discussed our post-grad plans, as that’s the most pressing and significant plans that we found ourselves having to think about. Tune in to our conversation as we ponder out loud with one another what our future endeavors might entail and how we plan on preparing for those future steps!

Take a listen...
