Ammanat Mann
"Hi I’m Ammanat, I am in my fourth year majoring in Psychology. I decided to become a Digital Peer Leader for Thrive Online because I want to share my experiences and stories here at Western through a creative network. I hope that my experiences can help students who want advice, inspiration, or simply want to get to know more about the lives of Western students through our lens"
What's one of the best books you've read? One of the best books that I have read would have to be Room by Emma Donoghue.
Who is your favourite artist/band? My favourite artist would have to be Rihanna, her global impact and outreach is incredible, and her music is simply timeless.
If you could travel to any city in the world, what city would it be? I would love to travel to Lake Como in Italy!
Macey Whiteside
"Hi !! My name is Macey and I am going into my 3rd year of MIT with a Digicomm certificate. Through MIT, I have been introduced to a wide range of writing types and skills, which has led me to this position. Specifically, I have found that I enjoy journalistic and creative writing which fuels my enthusiasm for this role due to the creativity aspect of it. Further, I decided to be a digital peer leader as I love that I can share my own experiences and create content which can be both relatable and meaningful to other students."

If you could travel to any city in the world, what city would it be? I would probably choose Melbourne Australia.

Who is your favourite artist/band? Mamamoo.
If you could travel to any city in the world, what city would it be? Coimbra, Portugal.
Julian Barua
"Hi, I'm Julian and I'm in my second year majoring in Computer Science! I decided to become a Digital Peer Leader as a result of my deep appreciation for the resources and leaders Western provided me with in my first year, such as the Student Experience content and my residence sophs. I hope that I can effectively pass on their wisdom and inspiration to those reading our blogs!"
What's one of the best books you've read? Seconds, by Bryan Lee O'Malley. It's easily the best graphic novel I've ever read.
Who is your favourite artist/band? My favourite artist is eebrozgi, a Finnish VGM composer! He is a huge inspiration for my own music endeavours.
If you could travel to any city in the world, what city would it be? It's not very far away, but I've never been to Vancouver.
