Colloquium Series: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Hispanic Studies

Last Friday, October 11, Dr. Eva-Lynn Jagoe (University of Toronto) delivered a thought-provoking presentation titled "Rural Pasts and Futures: Reading Film through the Environmental Humanities" as part of our department’s Colloquium series, Interdisciplinary Approaches to Hispanic Studies.

To prepare for the session, Prof. Constanza organized a special screening of the film As Bestas (Rodrigo Sorogoyen, 2022, Spain and France), which provided valuable context for Dr. Jagoe’s analysis.

Below is a group photo taken at the end of the session, capturing the collaborative and engaging atmosphere of the event. For more videos of the event and to browse the full Colloquium program, please see this link.
