Since the Environmental Humanities gained academic impetus, several scholars offered analysis under this light of the literary and cinematographic production in Latin America. However, women’s narrations have not received yet significant scholarly attention. Through my research I offer an analysis of the representations of environmental injustices within texts by Latin American contemporary women novelists and filmmakers, particularly how these artists represent groups such as girls, indigenous women, and environmental refugees.
