PaLM Grand Rounds May
Join us on Thursday, May 21, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., in Auditorium A at University Hospital, as Dr. Brian Keller, discusses “Beyond Checkpoint Inhibition: Remodeling the Tumor Immune Microenvironment in GI and GU Cancers.”
Date: Thursday, May 21, 2026
Time: 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Auditorium A, University Hospital
Learning objectives:
- Understand the relationship between mismatch repair status, tumour mutational burden, and response to immune checkpoint inhibition in GI and GU cancers
- Describe the mechanisms by which oncolytic virotherapy disrupts the immunosuppressive tumour microenvironment and primes anti-tumour immunity.
- Examine the cellular and molecular composition of the immunosuppressive tumour microenvironment in GI and GU cancers, with a focus on emerging immune cell populations as potential therapeutic targets.
