CCAA education and leadership training courses and workshops require experienced and specially trained facilitators and trainers. Those who are interested in becoming a CCAA course trainer should submit a résumé to the CCAA Education Coordinator. Trainers and facilitators are selected based on skills and experience as well as the training needs of the area in which they live. Registration Fee: $500.00 + applicable provincial tax.
Applicants Must Have:
Taken the CCAA course they are applying to instruct
A university degree or college diploma (in a health related field)
3 years experience in their field of practice and experience educating
Training Process:
Attend the 2-day Training for the Trainer course
Complete 16 assignments and achieve a grade of 80% or better
Co-teach with an experienced CCAA trainer
Deliver two CCAA training courses within one year of the Training for the Trainer course
