Thrift Pop-Up Event: Sustainable Fashion at Western
Thrift Pop-Up Event: Sustainable Fashion at Western
We are a group of students from GEOG4450F: Climate Change and Collective Action, hosting a Thrift Pop-Up Event in collaboration with EnviroUSC, GPS, and GreenSort. This initiative is part of our project on collective climate action, focusing on reducing textile waste - a growing issue on campus and worldwide. Every year, millions of tonnes of clothing end up in landfills, contributing to greenhouse gas emissions and environmental degradation. Our goal is to promote sustainable consumption, reuse, and awareness of the impacts of fast fashion.
