Tri-Agency Open Access Policy Info Sessions
The Tri-Agencies recently published a new Open Access Policy on Publications, which will apply to all grants and Chairholder awards awarded on or after January 1, 2027.
Among other requirements, the new policy will require that researchers:
- Retain author rights and apply an open license to published research and
- Ensure that research articles are freely and immediately available in a Canadian institutional repository at the time of publication.
These workshops will review the Tri-Agency Open Access Policy on Publications (2026), including what each of the requirements are and how you can fulfill them.
