PhysPharm Seminar Series | Nicole Edwards

Nicole Edwards, PhD, from the University of Michigan Medical School will present: "The developmental basis of trachea-esophageal birth defects: evidence for endosomeopathies."

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand how trachea-esophageal developmental defects and patient-associated genetic variants can be modeled in animal embryos.
  2. Learn how endosome trafficking pathways control cellular behaviors driving tissue-level morphogenesis in the trachea and esophagus.
  3. Learn how trafficking pathways mediate epithelial-mesenchymal signaling during foregut development.
