The Women in Engineering Annual Brunch is a cherished tradition that brings together our esteemed alumni, faculty, and current women in engineering students together for an inspiring and empowering gathering. Enjoy networking and a tasty brunch, listen to our inspirational keynote speaker, and celebrate the accomplishments of women in the field of engineering.
This year's keynote speaker is Western Engineering Alumni Haida Liu, Engineer with Toronto Hydro where she leads the Stations Expansion portfolio and contributes to Toronto's regional electricity planning alongside the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) and Hydro One. Her work ensures that Toronto's distribution grid can support the city's rapid growth, electrification, and transition to a more sustainable future.
