Dr. Robyn Klein, Canada Excellence Research Chair in Neurovirology and Neuroimmunology, will present: "Emerging RNA viruses and cognitive sequelae."
Learning Objectives:
- Learn the difference between neurotropic and neurovirulent RNA viruses.
- Understand how immune cells are both neuroprotective and neuropathologic during RNA viral infections.
- Understand how RNA viruses may induce learning and memory impairments.
