Accessing National Supercomputer Resources from Western and Beyond
Researchers at Western - whether new to the university or new to Canada’s Advanced Research Computing (ARC) ecosystem - are invited to a workshop introducing the national ARC resources available through the Digital Research Alliance of Canada.
Western researchers can access supercomputers, cloud platforms, large‑scale storage, and other computational services free of charge, along with personalized support from both local and national ARC staff.
In addition, SHARCNET - a high‑performance computing consortium of 19 academic institutions and the operator of the national supercomputer Nibi - offers a suite of non‑credit training courses in scientific computing, machine learning, data management, and other ARC‑related topics. Graduate students, faculty, staff, and other researchers are encouraged to explore upcoming offerings at: https://training.sharcnet.ca/.
Registration for this virtual event is not required and there is no fee. You can join the Zoom workshop here: https://westernuniversity.zoom.us/j/91587520011
