Please join the Faculty of Social Science for our third annual Allyship in the A.M. event, formerly known as Afternoon of Allyship.
This event brings together researchers and members of the university community to explore how principles of allyship can be thoughtfully put into practice through community-directed, collaborative and respectful research.

“Towards Allyship and Partnerships in Research” - Rebecca Bourgeois, Banting Postdoctoral Fellow, Anthropology
“Finding Your Footing as an Ally and Learning to be Strong Like Two People” - Evan Bowness, Canada Research Chair in Sustainability and Equity, Geography and Environment
“Towards Community-Directed Research”
A light lunch will be available to the first 75 attendees during a break between presentations at 11:30 a.m.
