Building 2SLGBTQIA+ Allyship Into Workplace Culture

People say that ally is a verb, but what does that look like at work? This one-hour talk from The 519 breaks down the elements of truly effective allyship and offers employees ideas and opportunities to practice interpersonally and organizationally. We’ll address the harms of performative allyship, and the benefits of solidarity in action.

What you'll gain:

  • Practical tips around affirming language, including pronouns and gender expansive language
  • Increased awareness of what to avoid when practicing allyship
  • Resources for ongoing learning and action.

Please be sure to add this event to your calendar! We look forward to welcoming you.
