Uganda–Canada Partnerships Advancing HIV Cure Research
This official UN High-Level Political Forum side event will showcase how Uganda–Canada partnerships are advancing equitable HIV cure research, health innovation, and industrial capacity.
The virtual discussion will highlight the IMMUNEQUITY HIV Cure Moonshot, a cross-continental initiative bringing together scientific discovery, biomedical engineering, local manufacturing, clinical research, and next-generation leadership to support accessible and scalable cure strategies.
Grounded in SDGs 3, 9, and 17, the virtual event will explore how equitable partnerships can strengthen health systems, accelerate innovation, support technology transfer, and build sustainable research and manufacturing capacity for global health impact.
