Sounds of Swing Concert
An evening of Big Band and Jazz music, Mark Enns, Director. Sounds of Swing is an adult swing band associated with the New Horizons Band program run by the Don Wright Faculty of Music.
A concert by Sounds of Swing Jazz Band: Monday, June 29, 7-8:30 pm; Wolf Performance Hall, 251 Dundas Street. Free Admission.
Two hours of free parking at Citi Plaza is available. Pick up a parking voucher from the main desk at Central Library.
Western’s New Horizons Adult Band Program, established in 1999, is modeled after similar programs in the United States and is sponsored by the Don Wright Faculty of Music. Currently, there are more than 50 such bands operating in the United States and Canada.
