Book Celebration

Please join the department in celebrating professor Cody Groat and professor Oleksa Drachewych on their recent book publications!

Cody Groat's book, 'Always A Part of the Land: The Federal Commemoration of Indigenous Histories', takes a look at how the cultivation of a nationalist narrative has shaped Canada’s federal relationship with Indigenous Peoples.

Oleksa Drachewych's book, 'Replaying the Second World War Soviet Parallels and Inspirations for Russian Atrocities in the Russo-Ukrainian War, 2014 - 25', explores how Russia’s use of WWII memory fuels its war against Ukraine.

We invite you to be part of this wonderful event, taking place in Conron Hall, R 3110.

This event includes a reception!
