Teaching Cafe
Join Western’s new Resource TAs at the Teaching Café, an informal, TA-driven gathering where graduate teaching assistants (GTAs) can gather in community. You are invited to share teaching experiences, questions, or challenges at any stage of your teaching journey, or simply listen and learn from peers in a supportive environment.
This café offers thoughtful, collegial feedback and camaraderie, as well as the opportunity to make new friends and professional connections with GTAs from across campus. It is open to all GTAs at Western University.
These cafés will include:
- Lots of opportunity (but no pressure) to share teaching experiences
- Supportive conversation
- Constructive feedback from peers
- Light snacks
Whether you’re trying something new in the classroom, navigating a teaching challenge, looking to connect with other GTAs, or just curious to hear how others approach their teaching, the Teaching Café is a space for GTAs to come together!
